πŸ† Official 7-a-Side Rules

1. Tournament Objective

Promotes peace, unity, and youth empowerment. Respect and discipline are mandatory.

2. Team Composition

  • 7 players on field (6 + 1 GK).
  • Max 12 players per team.
  • Substitutions are rolling.

3. Match Duration

  • 14 minutes total.
  • Knockouts tied at full time go to penalties.

4. Pitch & Equipment

  • Small-sided pitch.
  • No metal studs allowed.
  • Shin guards recommended.

5. Match Start

  • Coin toss decides kick-off.
  • No offside rule.

6. Fouls & Discipline

  • NO SLIDING TACKLES.
  • Yellow Card = 1-min sin bin.
  • Red Card = Match suspension.

7. Goalkeepers

  • No back pass pickup.
  • Release ball in 6 seconds.

8. Free Kicks

  • All free kicks are direct.
  • Opponents 3m away.

9. Scoring

  • Win=3, Draw=1, Loss=0.

10. Anti-Knife Crime

Violence or weapons = Immediate Disqualification.

11. Referees

Decision is final. Abuse leads to disciplinary action.

12. Registration

  • Report 15 mins early.
  • Fee (KES 1000) paid before match.

13. Organizers

May amend rules or cancel matches for safety.

14. Spirit

15. Injury & Liability

  • Play at own risk.
  • Organizers not liable for injuries.

16. Media Consent

  • Photos/Videos will be taken.
  • Used for promotion.

17. Child Protection

  • Under 18s need guardian consent.
